Description
Large Honeywell CO60PM evaporative air cooler available in Shoreditch. Powerful unit, best for large rooms, studios, workshops, events, patios, and well-ventilated spaces. This is an evaporative air cooler, not a refrigerated air conditioner. It does not use a compressor or refrigerant, and it will not cool a sealed room like a normal AC unit. It works by pulling air through water-soaked cooling media and pushing out cooler, moist air. For best results, it needs fresh airflow. It should be placed by an open door, balcony door, large open window, or just outside the room, so it can push cooler air through the space. A door or window should stay open while it is running. It is best suited to ventilated spaces rather than closed bedrooms or sealed rooms. Dimensions: 700 × 466 × 1,017 mm Weight: approx. 18.5 kg Please note: this is a large unit located on the 4th floor. Collection requires two people to carry it down four flights of stairs, and drop-off requires two people to carry it back up four flights of stairs. The water pump switch is stuck in the “on” position. This means the unit needs to be filled with water whenever it is being used in cooling mode. It will use the full 60L tank of water in about 6 hours on a hot/dry day and will require refilling regularly. Please ensure it doesnt run out of water as it will burn out the pump and there is no low water alarm, just a manual float to check on the front of the unit.
