Description

Includes: RARE MIR 1 37MM F2.8 GRAND PRIX BRUSSELS 1958 M42 MOUNT PRIME LENS & CAPS SILVER Front and rear caps M42 to L Mount adapter Hard lens Case Fascinating award-winning environmental portrait lens. Used in cinemodded form on Dune Part 2. It has dreamy painterly bokeh and wild flaring characteristics. The lens has pretty high IQ too particularly for it's era and the focal length 37mm is pretty much unique. It's like a wider, rarer, better built cousin of the Helios 44 or 40. This one has been modded to reduce minimum fox’s distance from 0.7m to 0.35m but of a game changer for closeups and better than it’s cousin the Carl Zeiss Flectagon.
