The Technics SL-1200MK3D (released 1997) is a professional direct-drive turntable featuring a non-clicking pitch slider, a, quartz-locked motor, and a recessed power switch to prevent accidental shutoff. It is a durable, silver-finished turntable (often with a headshell stand) designed for precise, stable playback, popular for DJing and, historically, the Jungle/Drum'n'Bass scene. Key Features and Improvements Pitch Control: Unlike the MK2, the MK3D removed the "center click" at 0% pitch for smoother, more accurate adjustments. It also added a, dedicated reset button.
