Description
This is our ATEM flypack, consisting of a 2M/E Constellation HD with 20 3G SDI inputs, a Hyperdeck Studio 2 for recording up to 3G SDI (HD) productions and a MikroTik RB3011. It's all held in a Gator 4U short rack case (the image is outdated and shows the previous 6U rack). This ATEM is a capable switcher, with 20 3G SDI inputs with frame and format conversion on all inputs and 12 aux outputs. By default, we have output 12 patched to the Hyperdeck. All inputs also have stereo audio embedded, which you can mix with the on-board software mixer where you can also apply dynamics to each input. Mixing is via ATEM Software Control on a computer with ethernet (not supplied) or you can source a hardware panel (not supplied). You can also get a programme output and control the unit with the USB-C connection (cable not supplied). This Hyperdeck Studio 2 is capable of recording HD inputs. We have the return patched back to the ATEM on input 18 for monitoring. This deck records to 2.5" SATA SSDs. Please ask if you need some when you book. The MikroTik Routerboard is currently configured in 'bridge' mode, to only operate as a network switch. We like this unit because it can also be put into 'router' mode in order to act as the DHCP server for our network and separate our production network from the wider venue LAN. Let us know if you'd like this configured as a router, or you can do it yourself on-site through WinBox. Power is via a surge protected 6-gang PDU with a standard 13A plug. Also racked is another 5-gang PDU chained into the first PDU for additional surge-protected power. This additional PDU is very useful for powering standards or format converters.
