Description
DZOFilm Arcana 75mm T2.1 anamorphic lens hire in London — 1.5x squeeze, full-frame coverage, PL mount. Available to hire in central London. The 75 is the close end of the Arcana range, and the one where anamorphic stops being subtle. Faces sit clean off the background, the bokeh goes properly oval, and any point source behind the subject stretches into that horizontal streak people hire anamorphic to get. With the 1.5x squeeze it reads horizontally like a 50mm spherical while giving you the compression of a 75, so singles feel intimate without the camera being uncomfortably close to the actor. WHAT'S INCLUDED The lens with front and rear caps and a padded pouch. Lens hoods aren't included as standard — most shoots don't use them and they're the item most often lost. Ask when you book and I'll add one at no charge. SPECS Focal length: 75mm Aperture: T2.1 Squeeze: 1.5x Coverage: full-frame / VV Mount: PL Build: hybrid anamorphic, cine housing with geared focus and iris WHAT PEOPLE HIRE IT FOR Singles and close coverage. Fashion and beauty. Music videos where the look has to carry the shot. Narrative. Portraits. Any London shoot with the room to stand back and let the compression work. MOUNTING PL mount, so it drops onto Alexa, Red and Venice. A PL adapter covers the mirrorless bodies. THE FULL SET I list the 32, 45 and 75 together as a three-lens set, which comes in cheaper than hiring them individually. PACKING For anamorphic lens hire in London, the kit goes out in a hard case or padded bag, and specific packing is on request when you book.
