Description

Manfrotto MVH500AH fluid video head hire in London: the 500 head with a flat base, to put on your own tripod legs or support. WHY THIS ONE If your tripod has a photo ball head, swapping to a real fluid head is the biggest single improvement you can make to video pans. The 500 has fluid cartridges on both pan and tilt with a fixed drag, so moves start and stop smoothly, and a 2.4kg pre-set counterbalance helps the camera hold its tilt. The flat base mounts on a standard 3/8in screw. WHAT'S INCLUDED Manfrotto MVH500AH head with its 500PLONG sliding plate. SPECS Base: flat, 3/8in thread Drag: fixed fluid drag on pan and tilt Counterbalance: 2.4kg pre-set Payload: 8kg (Manfrotto rating) Tilt: -70° to +90°, with 360° pan Plate: 500PLONG sliding plate Weight: 0.9kg WHAT PEOPLE HIRE IT FOR Turning a photo tripod into a video tripod for one job. Replacing a head that's gone stiff mid-shoot. Filmmakers in London who own good legs but not a fluid head. COMPATIBILITY Fits legs with a 3/8in screw, including the Manfrotto 755XB tripod I hire out. The 755XB and 500 head are also listed together as a kit, and the MVK500AM kit puts a 500 head on twin legs. All are available to hire in London. PACKING Goes out for hire in a padded bag. Ask for specific packing when you book.
