Description
Just like the one you see Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong playing, a vintage classic. The Junior was first introduced in 1956, as a stripped-down version of the Les Paul Standard. Originally targeted at the entry-level/student market, now one of the finest examples of Gibson quality from the 1950s. No binding, no ornate inlays, uncarved single-piece mahogany body, one pick-up, one volume knob, one tone knob, classic two-tone sunburst. There's a benefit to simplicity. You don't have to spend time switching between pick-ups, fiddling around with controls. Just tune up, plug in, crank up, and play. And it plays and sounds fantastic. The P-90 absolutely sings, with no loss of output over all these years. Not a reissue! This is a genuine Gibson Les Paul Junior made in 1956. Which helps explain the hire price. But if you want to add some classic P-90 driven sounds to your home or studio work, then this is the one! Happy to include a support pack at no extra cost, with: - Hercules Mini Stand - Strap - Clip-on Tuner - Cleaning Cloth - Complimentary Plectrums. Happy to meet personally in London to hand over. And if this isn't the one for you, check out my other guitar, amp and pedal listings!
