Description
The first ever electric bass, and still #1 today. Classic sunburst, rosewood fretboard, open-gear clover-leaf tuners, tortoiseshell pickguard, serial-number stamped neckplate. All original, apart from the replacement of the Fender split pick-up with a beautifully crafted Kent Armstrong PBV-1. The Fender Precision has made it into the hands of pretty much any famous bass guitarist at some point in their career (or all of it). This 1972 model is a perfect example. It bears some of the wear you'd expect from a well-played guitar, but it sounds massive, across the tonal range. Fully maintained and set up, and ready for you to hire. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Iain was incredibly helpful, polite and enthusiastic, and even provided an extra bag of useful tools, including a clip-on tuner. The 1972 Fender Precision Bass and amp were in pristine condition, sounded incredible and genuinely elevated our rehearsal session. Excellent service all round – I’ll absolutely be hiring from Iain again.

Iain is a pleasure to talk to; he is charming, polite and very knowledgeable regarding Guitars and Bass Guitars. I rented a well maintained Precision Bass, which came in a hard case with relevant accessories; I believe this was extremely great value for money. Playing the Precision Bass it was also clear to me that it had been well serviced and looked after. With Iain’s professionalism, value and great service I have no doubt that I will be a returning customer!
