Description
Not just eye-catching for its colour, this is also the ultimate stripped-down, high-performance Flying V. A single Gibson humbucker pick-up at the bridge, a single Volume knob, a Steinberger KB-X Tremolo, an extended scale length (25.5"). And, holy grail of holy grails, 24 frets, with unrestricted access all the way up to the 24th fret. The V '90s came in Nuclear Yellow or High-Gloss Black. The colour is rightly named Nuclear Yellow . . . this one would light up a stadium in the dark. The Steinberger KB-X Tremolo works exactly and accurately, come dive or climb, with no change in intonation on return to open tuning. Thoughtfully for the over-active guitarist, you can always play it sitting down, thanks to the flip-out Steinberger Balance Rest on the underside. In good condition for its age, with some light nicks and lacquer cracking. Professionally set up and tested and great to rock out with.
