Description
Paul Crowther first produced the Hot Cake when he was with Split Enz in the 1970s. He knew what he wanted, couldn't find it, so made one for himself. A great fat overdrive that retains the underlying tonality of the guitar without tipping over into fuzz. Loved by: Thom Yorke, Ed O'Brien, Noel Gallagher, Steve Cradock, Hugh Harris, Neil Finn, to name just a few. Just a few small nicks to the paintwork. Works fantastically. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Iain was incredibly helpful, polite and enthusiastic, and even provided an extra bag of useful tools, including a clip-on tuner. The 1972 Fender Precision Bass and amp were in pristine condition, sounded incredible and genuinely elevated our rehearsal session. Excellent service all round – I’ll absolutely be hiring from Iain again.
