The classic multi-patterned, large condensor workhorse. The AKG 414 is great on just about any instrument. Seen in probably every good recording studio in the world, the XLII is even better than other 414's with a slight lift In the 2-4k area for a crisp and clear Vocal. I've had this mic for 2 years now and its in perfect condition. Comes with an AKG shockmount, solid AKG box and popshield if you need one.
