If you have invested money in owning vinyl records then you should consider cleaning them, either after purchasing second hand records or having stored and played them for some time. The Audio Desk Systeme Vinyl Cleaner PRO, the world's highest-rated and highest-performing record cleaner, uses ultrasonic technology to remove microscopic dust particles from deep within the grooves of the records, making for a more pleasurable listening experience with fewer pops and crackles. It can also remove marks and scuffs such as fingerprints that can negatively affect the sound of vinyl. Ultrasonic cleaning is non-contact, so your vinyl is not rubbed or brushed. Ultrasonic cleaning is achieved by producing millions of microscopic air bubbles in a tank of water within the machine generated by a transducer that transmits the ultrasonic sound through the liquid. These tiny bubbles reach breaking point and implode giving incredible cleaning results by dislodging the build-up of dirt and grime that is normally impossible to remove by hand. The fluid is constantly filtered to keep the dirt away from the disc, and the label on the record never comes into contact with the liquid. The machine has an inbuilt dryer which carefully dries the disc at the end of the cycle. If you want to rent the Audio Desk cleaner you must bring your vinyl to me and I will clean it for you on the machine. Unless you are cleaning hundreds of records, I cannot let you take it away with you as it has 5 litres of de-ironised water and cleaning fluid in it! I also have a Okki Nokki vacuum vinyl cleaner which I recommend using in conjunction with the Audio Desk. This combo is touted as the best possible for cleaning vinyl.
