Rented this camera over the weekend of Valentine’s Day and my birthday the next day, was super excited to get amazing pictures out of the canon camera g7x mark ii, however was disappointed when no memory card was given with the camera, this didn’t seem like such a big deal, however I bought my own and inserted it just for the camera to show the same message of “memory card locked” or even “memory card error”, it’s no lie that the camera is probably quite old and that’s why it’s being put on rent, however it should have been made clear. I also went to a camera shop to resolve this problem an hour after I picked it up and the shop man opened a brand new memory card just so we could see if it was the one I had bought that was a problem or if it was the camera, turns out it was the camera. Very disappointed, however did manage to come to a resolution with the hygglo support team and got reimbursed, still disappointed in this and will never be renting any items in the future, being this my first time.
