Classic Fender Jazzmaster 62 Reissue in three-tone sunburst. Beloved of surf groups, new wave, indie and grunge bands over the years. This is one of the first run of reissues after Fender stopped making the Jazzmaster in the US in 1980. A Japanese Jazzmaster, built to the spec of the 1962 Jazzmaster. An absolute beauty, with loads of lovely features: the pre-CBS headstock, the spaghetti decal, the unbound rosewood fretboard the clay dot makers, the four-ply tortoiseshell scratchplate, the separate rhythm and lead tone circuits, and white nylon cased single-coils. It's got everything going for it in terms of tone - all the way from soft muted jazz to biting treble. With a tremolo that's spot on for your surf or new wave shimmer. A hugely versatile guitar. In fantastic condition - save a couple of very distinctive lacquer cracks. Professionally set-up and good to go.
