Description
The "king of the flat-tops". Played by anyone from Elvis Presley through to Alex Turner, and pretty much anyone in between. A beautiful 1993 Gibson J-200 in classic dark sunburst. Built in Gibson's famous Bozeman Montana plant, for sale in Gibson's 100th Anniversary celebration year. This one has everything you'd want from a J-200. That beautiful sunburst, the hand-inlaid mother-of-pearl crowns, the gold hardware, the characteristic moustache bridge and inlaid pickguard. It's aged well beyond the 30+ years it's been around, and sounds all the better for it. The tone and projection of this guitar is just amazing. Whether that's the quality of the original design and build, the effect of the ageing, or a mix of the two, this guitar just sings. New, these will set you back £4000+, so definitely worth a test run first!
