A 2-channel dedicated compact DJ controller for Rekordbox DJ. Ideal for beginners or experienced DJs for house parties or gigs, or to practice mixing at home and record your DJ mixes. Comes with cables so you can get up and running quickly, as well as a plastic dust cover case and original box. It works with Rekordbox (no subscription needed) as well as other software, simply to connect to your laptop/computer via the USB cable and start spinning tunes. Excellent quality, everything works as it should. I’ve only ever used this for home DJ mixing. Description: Club-style layout - the buttons and knobs on the DDJ-400 are arranged in the same way as those on club-standard CDJ-2000NXS2 and DJM-900NXS2 set-up, so this unit is a good way to get used to your way around the more expensive CDJ and mixer set-up that you’ll find in a club or bar. Two decks - the jog wheels, play/pause and cue buttons, tempo sliders, a loop section and cue/loop call buttons are just like the ones on the CDJ-2000NXS2. Mixer - use the trim and EQ knobs, and the headphone cue buttons, in exactly the same way as those on the DJM-900NXS2.
