The sE Electronics V7 is a rugged dynamic supercardioid microphone, a fantastic choice for vocals when rejection is important. This is my go-to microphone when recording vocals alongside other instruments, both live and in the studio. I find myself preferring the sE V7 over a Shure SM58 on most singers. When rejection/isolation is not a priority, I usually opt for the sE Electronics V3 which is the cardioid version of this microphone, which provides a slightly more open sound.
