Its high directivity allows it to capture sound from the direction the camera is pointing, while minimizing noise from the sides and rear. The switchable "Low Cut" filter further reduces wind noise, ensuring clear and crisp audio. For added convenience, the MKE 600 can be powered by either phantom power or batteries. A battery switch with a "Low Batt" indicator helps to prevent premature battery discharge. The microphone also features a rugged all-metal housing and excellent suppression of structure-borne noise. It comes with a foam windshield and shock mount for optimal sound quality in any filming environment.
