Description
Great solution for anyone using mini-DV tapes, eg if you want to digitalise them. You can feed in your footage into PC/laptop, without the risk to wear out the heads on your camcorder. This high-definition video Walkman can be used as a playback unit to transfer tapes into PC, as well as editing machine and a video camera monitor. Reference monitor: reproduces nearly twice as many (1.8x) viewable colours than usually possible, lightweight and small for the field work. High-quality 7-inch widescreen (16:9) LCD monitor with 800 x 480 resolution. As for viewing on larger screen, the unit can be connected to your TV etc using a HDMI cable. Editor: Built in assemble editor lets you mark cut-in and cut-out points for up to 20 separate scenes. Ability of extracting photos from the videos: the unit captures digital still images up to 1440 x 810 resolution from video tapes, analogue inputs or i.LINK input (=firewire), directly onto Memory Stick media. While playing back your images on this unit, it allows you to zoom in (up to 2 times), crop them and save. Inputs: i.LINK (HDV/DV), Video (RCA x1), Audio (RCA x2), S-Video The analog In/Out ports can be used to connect the unit to a range of analog devices. Once connected you're able to edit sounds and images between the two. It also lets you preserve your analog library by copying it onto a digital format.
