The Vax Compact Power Plus Upright Carpet Cleaner available for daily hire SPECS The Vax Compact Power Plus is great for cleaning high traffic areas and small spaces. Its AQUASPIN brush bar easily tackles pet messes and tough stains, leaving your carpets looking, feeling and smelling like new. Its twin tanks ensure clean and dirty water are kept separate, meaning you will only ever put clean water and solution into your carpets. At under 6 kilograms the Vax Compact Power Plus is the lightest carpet washer yet, making it easy to carry and manoeuvre around the home. Its small compact design means it is perfect for reaching into smaller areas and its narrow floor head allows you to get into tight spaces around the home, whilst also being easy to store. This carpet washer is embedded with antimicrobial treatment, a more hygienic way to clean your carpets. This vax carpet cleaner was purchased new in JUNE 2026 To ensure the carpet cleaner is cleaned before returning to us, we require a deposit of £90 on collection. This will be refunded once the carpet cleaner is returned in clean working order. The owner assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from its use. ⚠ CRITICAL: YOU MUST DRY-VACUUM FIRST! Failing to thoroughly dry-vacuum the carpets before using this machine will destroy the motor which will cause the machine to break down and trip your home’s electricity board. This machine is an extractor, not a standard vacuum cleaner. Why You Must Dry-Vacuum First • Shatters the Motor: Small debris (grit, pet kibble, coins) bypasses wet filters, hits the fan spinning at 20,000 RPM, and shatters it. • Snaps the Drive Belt: Loose hair and carpet fibres wrap around the brushbar, locking it solid and burning out the drive mechanism. • Creates Destructive Mud: Loose dust turns into thick sludge inside the machine, blocking airflow and causing the motor to overheat. How to Prepare the Room 1. Clear the Area: Remove all small items, toys, and clutter from the floor. 2. Vacuum Twice: Move slowly with your standard household dry vacuum. 3. Cross-Pattern Pass: Vacuum north-to-south, then east-to-west to lift deep, hidden debris. ________________________________________ Correct Chemical Dilution Guide This machine uses highly concentrated Dirtbusters / Vax specific solutions. Misuse will flood the motor with foam and destroy the machine. Step 1: Add a small amount of cleaning solution (following specific product dilution instructions) into the clean water tank first. Step 2: Fill the rest of the tank to the Max Fill Line with warm water (under 40°C). Never: use excessive amounts of cleaner; it will create too much foam. ________________________________________ 🛑 Stop Immediately If: • The machine suddenly makes a very loud, high-pitched whining or grinding noise. • The machine stops sucking up water from the floor.
