Description

DZOFilm Arles 75mm T1.4 cine prime hire in London — PL mount, Vista Vision coverage, available in central London. The 75 is where the set starts flattering people. Enough compression to slim a face and lift a subject off the background, without the working distance getting silly the way it does at 100mm. On full-frame it's the portrait and single-coverage lens. T1.4 at 75mm on a Vista Vision sensor gives you a very shallow plane, so it wants a focus puller or a careful operator — and it rewards both. Backgrounds dissolve to colour and shape while the eyes stay sharp. WHAT'S INCLUDED The lens with front and rear caps and a padded pouch. Lens hoods aren't included as standard — most shoots don't use them and they're the item most often lost. Ask when you book and I'll add one at no charge. SPECS Focal length: 75mm Aperture: T1.4 Coverage: Vista Vision / full-frame Mount: PL Build: cine housing with geared focus and iris rings WHAT PEOPLE HIRE IT FOR Portraits and singles. Interview coverage where the background needs to disappear. Fashion and beauty. Narrative close work. Commercials. Music videos. Any London shoot where a subject has to lift cleanly off a busy location. MOUNTING Straight onto any PL body: Alexa, Red, Venice. A PL adapter covers Sony E, Canon RF and L-mount. THE FULL SET I list all five Arles primes — 25, 35, 50, 75 and 100mm — together as a set, which comes in cheaper than hiring them one at a time. PACKING For cine lens hire in London, the kit goes out in a hard case or padded bag, and specific packing is on request when you book.
