Description

DZOFilm Arles 25mm T1.4 cine prime hire in London — PL mount, Vista Vision coverage, available in central London. The 25 is the wide end of the Arles set and the one that does the heavy lifting on interiors. Wide enough to hold a room and the people in it, without the edge-of-frame face distortion a 20mm starts punishing you with. T1.4 on a wide lens is unusual and genuinely useful. You can shoot a practical-lit interior at night, keep the whole room in frame, and not have to put a light on the ceiling to do it. WHAT'S INCLUDED The lens with front and rear caps and a padded pouch. Lens hoods aren't included as standard — most shoots don't use them and they're the item most often lost. Ask when you book and I'll add one at no charge. SPECS Focal length: 25mm Aperture: T1.4 Coverage: Vista Vision / full-frame Mount: PL Build: cine housing with geared focus and iris rings WHAT PEOPLE HIRE IT FOR Interior masters. Establishing shots. Documentary where you're in a small space with your subject. Music videos. Car interiors. Any London shoot in a flat, a bar or a tight studio where stepping back further isn't an option. MOUNTING PL mounts straight onto Alexa, Red and Venice. Sony E, Canon RF and L-mount bodies need a PL adapter. THE FULL SET I list all five Arles primes — 25, 35, 50, 75 and 100mm — together as a set, which comes in cheaper than hiring them one at a time. PACKING It goes out in a hard case or padded bag, like every cine lens hire in London I do, with the best packing available on request.
